New graduates considered.  Some experience (1-5 years) in relevant field helpful but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of various technologies and innovations within the golf club and golf ball industries, with a specific focus on digital and electromechanical devices.
  • Create, manage, and execute multiple projects in parallel, holding internal and external groups accountable for timelines and deliverables.
  • Plan, conduct and/or coordinate complex mechanical engineering experiments to test, prove, or modify product design.
  • Prepare, organize, and communicate findings in technical reports to management and other departments.
  • Work to ensure success with respect to product manufacturing and supply chain
  • Liaise with the Intellectual Property team as necessary to facilitate R&D and IP coordination.
  • Liaise with the sales and field marketing team to launch and support products throughout their life-cycle

Competency

  • Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following majors: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering with a strong emphasis on electromechanical devices.
  • New graduates considered.  Some experience (1-5 years) in relevant field helpful but not necessary.
  • Experience in golf industry is a plus; passion for golf is a requirement.
  • The successful candidate will exhibit high levels of creative problem-solving skills and a proven ability to project manage and interact with cross-functional teams

Knowledge, exposure to, or experience in the following categories is a plus:

  • Digital product development (Apps, APIs, websites)
  • Familiarity with electronics (Bluetooth, USB)
  • Familiarity with database management
  • Performance Testing: material testing, dynamic behavior
  • Familiarity with electromechanical devices
  • Design of Experiments
  • Exposure to CAE software (CAD, FEA) a plus
