HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA... The Cleveland HiBORE XL was the best-selling driver model in the U.S. for the month of March (2007). According to Golf Datatech®, an independent service which measures sell-through in golf retail locations, the HiBORE XL outsold every other 2007 "inline" driver model in the nation at all on- and off-course locations combined. Three early wins on the 2007 PGA Tour -- Vijay Singh at the Mercedes Benz Championship and Arnold Palmer Invitational, Boo Weekley at the Verizon Heritage-- have garnered the HiBORE XL tremendous exposure and may have helped fuel the dramatic sales of this driver. Another contributing factor for HiBORE XL’s surging sales may be the driver’s numerous positive performance reviews. One such review, conducted by Hotstix Golf™ in Golf® Magazine’s latest ClubTest issue (May 2007), declared HiBORE XL as the clear distance winner over the competition.

In a related category, Cleveland’s HiBORE irons have become the fastest-growing hybrid irons in golf. Since their introduction in January, the HiBORE irons market shares have increased from .7% to 1.5% to 2.4% during the three month period at on- and off-course shops.
