CYPRESS, CA… Cleveland Golf is pleased to announce the introduction of the TA6™ irons. These new game improvement irons were engineered by removing material from the cavity and redistributing it to the sole and perimeter of the club head. This allows for a wider sole which helps to move the center of gravity lower and further away from the face making it easier for players of all types to get the ball in the air quickly and easily. Material that has been relocated to the extreme club head perimeter of the TA6 helps create increased perimeter weighting and a higher moment of inertia (MOI), as well as a larger sweet spot for increased stability on mis-hits which results in straighter, more consistent shots. Made from 17-4 stainless steel, the TA6 is offered in the ActionLite™ steel shafts or proprietary light weight graphite shafts.

"The technology behind these new irons makes it easier for players of all levels to lower their scores." said Greg Hopkins, President/COO of Cleveland Golf. "They will also be offered at a street price that gives our customers a great value."

The MSRP on the TA6 irons is $640.00 (set of 8) and will begin shipping on February 20th, 2004. High and low resolution images are currently available at in the media section.
