CYPRESS, CA... Cleveland Golf announced today that it won a second Golf Tips Magazine 2004 Technology Award. The TA6™ iron took top honors in the category of Best Value.

"Having our products recognized by Golf Tips magazine for their value means a lot to our company," said Greg Hopkins, President/CEO of Cleveland Golf. "We strive to provide premium golf equipment to our customers at prices that ensure both value and quality."

Cleveland Golf's TA6 irons are game improvement irons that were engineered by removing material from the cavity and redistributing it to the sole and perimeter of the clubhead. This allows for a wider sole which helps to move the center of gravity lower and further away from the face making it easier for players of all types to get the ball in the air quickly and easily. Material that has been relocated to the extreme clubhead perimeter of the TA6 helps create increased perimeter weighting and a higher moment of inertia (MOI), as well as a larger sweet spot for increased stability on mis-hits which results in straighter, more consistent shots. Made from 17-4 stainless steel, the TA6 is offered with ActionLite™ steel shafts or proprietary light weight graphite shafts.
