CYPRESS, CA... Cleveland Golf furthers the expansion of its women’s W-Series line with the addition of the W-Series Launcher irons.

The W-Series Launcher irons are Cleveland Golf's first true entry into the game improvement category for women. These new irons have the highest MOI (Moment of Inertia) and the lowest, deepest center-of-gravity available in any Cleveland Golf iron. The W-Series Launcher irons offer mid to high handicap players more accuracy and less loss of distance on off-center hits, while their wider sole helps players get the ball up in the air quickly and easily. Their extra-large cavity and face help create an even larger sweet spot which will make the game more enjoyable for players of any level.

"Robotic testing has shown these new irons to have the tightest shot dispersion of any iron in their category," said Todd Harman, Director of Product Marketing for Cleveland Golf. "These are the most forgiving irons that we've ever made."

The W-Series Launcher irons, made from 17-4 stainless steel with a high polish finish, have an MSRP of $800.00 and come with lightweight graphite shafts made specifically for women. They will begin shipping on December 1st, 2004. High and low resolution images are currently available at in the media section.
