HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA…Cleveland Golf is pleased to announce the promotion of Rodney McDonald to Vice President of Tour Operations, effective immediately. McDonald began his career at Cleveland Golf in 1996, as a PGA Tour representative for the company. He was elevated to the position of PGA Tour manager in 1999 before being promoted to Director of Tour Operations in 2001.

"Our success on The Tour over the past few years is really a direct reflection of the players we have on staff, the equipment that we provide for them and the service they receive from our entire tour department," said McDonald. "No one individual is responsible for Cleveland's tour success. We're a team and I feel very fortunate to be a part of it."

"It's not just about choosing players that will win on tour," said Greg Hopkins, President/CEO of Cleveland Golf. "It's also about building a team within our tour department that will ultimately give our players their best chance at winning. Rodney's unique ability to assemble and maintain that winning team has made him an invaluable asset to our company."

McDonald, a native of Iowa, graduated in 1986 from Northwestern Missouri State University with a BA in finance. He relocated to Southern California, with his wife, Kim and their three children, in November of 2002.
